The Anderson Center and Red Wing Photography Club

The Red Wing Photography Club has entered into a formal agreement with The Anderson Center to fulfill our long term goals.  Since our inception, we have wanted to be connected directly to the community’s art culture.  The Anderson Center brings that goal to life beyond our dreams.

Beginning in January 2010, the club’s monthly club meetings (on the third Monday of each month) will officially be in the café area in the main building by the tower.  But there’s more big news.

Part of the agreement with The Anderson Center is that we will have a permanent studio for our workshops, classes, and photo shoots.  The studio will be remodeled over the winter months to suit the needs of the club.  This will provide for all the indoor and many of the club’s outdoor activities to be held at the same beautiful facility.

The photo club was formed in February of 2008 and enjoys a membership of almost 100 photographers.  Experience levels from the very beginner to professionals are all welcomed.

Having a studio and a direct connection with the state’s most revered art center is a dream few photography clubs could ever hope for. Come join us.
